Can I Reach 100% VA Disability?

Many veterans paid at 90% are actually somewhere between 85% and 94% true combined rating. To be paid at 100%, the combined value usually needs to reach 95% or higher.

Why one new rating may not be enough

Because VA math applies each rating to the remaining non-disabled percentage, adding a 10%, 20%, or even 30% rating may not move the combined rating as much as expected.

Example: If you are at 94%, you may only need about 1 point to round to 100%. If you are at 90%, you may need several new or increased ratings.
